The Ledger · a strength log for rotating shifts
Your schedule has never been the same two weeks running. Every fitness app pretends it is.
The Ledger reads your roster, decides today's session, adjusts it to how you actually are, and carries the plan forward, so you don't have to.

The second job
You've been working a second job nobody hired you for.
The schedule drops once a month, and the plan you wrote is already wrong. So you rewrite it on the way home. You do the math at 8pm, standing in the kitchen in scrubs: four hours of sleep against three sets of five. Does today still count? You carry the whole program in your head through a run of nights, with nobody to check your work.
That's the second job: being your own coach at the end of a twelve-hour shift. You never applied for it. And every app you tried handed you more of it.
“0 workouts this week.”
Three nights in a row. You kept people alive.
“Your readiness is red.”
It's been red for two years. It was calibrated for people who sleep at night.
“You're falling behind.”
The schedule changed twice this month. The plan never did.
“Where were you yesterday?”
Yesterday was your first day off. That's where fatigue peaks, and every program plans the comeback there anyway.
You didn't fail the program. The program failed your rotation.
It's not you. It's the schedule.
And a plan can be built for the schedule you actually have: decided, adjusted, waiting.
It reads your roster
Tap in your shifts. Watch the week rebuild itself.
Days, nights, the run of three: you enter them with taps, not typing. The Ledger knows a run of nights ends in a crash, so your first day off is protected. Recovery, on purpose, in writing. The real work lands on the days that can actually carry it.
Your first day off is for recovery. The plan knew before you did.

It asks how you actually are
Thirty seconds of honesty. A verdict, not a score.
Sleep, soreness, stress, motivation. Four taps. The Ledger answers with today's plan, not a number to argue with. Wrecked after a third twelve? Today is a hold: same lifts, lighter loads, written down like it was always the plan. Because it was.
A hold is the plan working.

It carries every number forward
You never start over. The ledger remembers.
Last session is already ghosted into today's page: what you lifted, what was eased, what comes next. Hit the adjusted numbers and it counts, fully. At the end of a rotation, the week rules off: Balanced. A short week? Carried forward. Same ink. Same calm. The log never turns on you.

Balanced.
Also in the book: type “bench 3×5 135” and it's logged · a one-tap effort read after each lift · form-check videos that never leave your phone.

Written down, on purpose
The things this app will never do.
- No streaks. Ever.Nothing that counts your days in a row, and nothing that breaks when your schedule does.
- A hard week is a planned adjustment.Backing off on the right day is the program working, and it will never be marked in red.
- Your data lives on your phone first.Nothing syncs until you sign in. Deleting your account deletes it for real.
- A training log, not medical advice. It plans your lifting. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or pretend to.
These aren't settings. They're the reason it was built.
Inside the app
A quiet page that already did the thinking.
